Having seen several political and economic cycles, it has bemused me that one party when in power, spend to inject money into the economy to grow gross domestic product, whilst the other party cut the spending to recover our debt riddled economy. However, those cuts are not favoured by the great British public who will inevitably vote the former party back in to spend again.
Politicians continue to leave the nation unimpressed. We are left in uncertain times although you can be certain of taxes and of course death. Is it likely that there will be a change in leadership over the coming years? Some believe so and that change could bring an overhaul to inheritance tax as well as the normal increased and excessive spending that might again result in the UK increasing debt again.
